A small team from MOLA was invited to visit the Museum of Kosovo in Prishtina, to provide initial consultancy advice on the archaeological policy and strategy requirements of the museum and to make recommendations about Capacity Building archaeological techniques and  procedures that would be of use to the museum and its archaeological team.

MOLA was able to provide expert advice on geomatics work (survey infrastructure, 3D terrain models, GIS), excavation techniques, analysis and specialist interpretation, policy and procedures, training and skills.

This advice was provided following a period of political instability and conflict. MOLA staff visited several sites to understand the challenges posed by rapid redevelopment and prepared a report with recommendations for future archaeological management.
