Testimonials from staff
Having worked at MOLA for almost two years, I can guarantee that I am not planning on ever leaving! On my first day I was introduced to everyone and was given all of the equipment and information that I needed, however what really stood out for me is when they asked me all about my interests and career aspirations. I could never have dreamed of the amount of support and training opportunities they have given me since. MOLA truly is a company that cares about their teams and their dreams, which reflects in the happy, kind and passionate people that I work with.
Ana Bordona Foz, Archaeologist
When I started working for MOLA in Northampton it was straight from university and I had little experience in the field, but the company provided a lot of training and development opportunities to help me progress. I undertake a huge range of projects, where there is a variety of work for people of all interests and always something exciting happening. Currently I oversee some of the largest projects in the country, involving hundreds of archaeologists and specialists, and the team get on brilliantly, from the field site team all the way up to senior management.
Simon Markus, Project Officer
Being a Project Supervisor is an enjoyable position that has allowed me to really expand my skillset to benefit my career. This has included funding for learning and development courses, working across a wide range of sites, and high quality Health and Safety training. As well as the opportunity to take part in rewarding and challenging site work, MOLA’s mentor system has supported me in all aspects of report writing, from research right the way through to formatting, to produce first-rate documentation. This expertise was especially useful after we found an unusual Saxon hoard in an Iron Age and Roman landscape.
