Once we’ve completed the analysis of an excavation, all the material is deposited with an archive, museum or other repository. It can then be accessed by anyone who may want to research the site in the future.
Every local and national archive has different standards and requirements. Our team work with them to make sure we are up to date with their latest standards. By working with colleagues at every stage of the project, we ensure we’re always meeting the necessary standards. Our team collect and check everything to make sure it is ready to be transferred to storage. We’ll also arrange the signing of the Transfer of Title for the finds from you to the repository.
As well as supporting the deposition of finds into archives, we often deal with future enquiries from researchers and the public.
