Our Thames Discovery Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC) sessions are all inspired by the archaeology found along the River Thames. You can get involved in all sorts of activities, including visiting and investigating archaeological sites and historic places, trying out traditional crafts, and lots more! 

Thames Discovery YAC is based at The Creekside Discovery Centre, Deptford, and usually meets on the second Sunday of each month. Our sessions are led by our friendly, knowledgeable staff and the whole team is fully DBS checked. YAC is open to everyone aged 8–16 years. 

Sessions are open to club members only and must be booked as a block of 4 sessions. We review our membership at the end of each block. 

The block of 4 sessions costs £10, but we have some free places available for those who need them.

Thames Discovery YAC is an affiliated club of the YAC network and is run by staff and volunteers at Museum of London Archaeology.
