Heritage consents
Our team has extensive experience dealing with heritage consents, and will support you every step of the way...
Heritage consents are sometimes required by local planning authorities in response to specific circumstances. These can include:
-
making alterations to listed buildings (Listed Building Consent)
-
proposing any physical disturbances to scheduled monuments (Scheduled Monument Consent)
This special consent is in addition to the standard planning process. We provide expert advice on the documentation you need for these applications and how best to get consent. We’ll also liaise with the statutory consultees and Local Authority planners for you.
Additionally, we will handle the burial licence process for the excavation of human remains. This includes submitting burial licence applications to the Ministry of Justice and the Church of England on your behalf.
