We’re delighted to be sending another member of our team to take up the position of Field Archaeologist in Residence at the University of Cambridge.

Christopher Chinnock, one of our Human Osteologists, will spend a term conducting further research using stable isotopes to uncover more about diet, migration and mobility in the Saxon period based on a burial ground discovered at Ketton Quarry in Rutland, in the East Midlands.

This is a brilliant opportunity to draw academic and professional archaeology closer together to gain a better understanding of this burial ground and the individuals interred there. We look forward to sharing more information about the research over the coming months.
