After four successful years at MOLA, our CEO Janet Miller is moving on to pastures new. I’m sure you join us in wishing Janet all the best in her new adventures.  

We’re delighted to announce that, on an interim basis, Steve Parry is taking over as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Formerly MOLA’s Chief Operating Officer and with over 20 years’ experience leading archaeological organisations, Steve is exceptionally well qualified to provide MOLA with strategic and operational direction.  

Recruitment for a new CEO is underway and we look forward to welcoming and introducing them to our clients, partners and peers in the not-too-distant future.

Steve Parry, Interim Chief Executive Officer 
Steve provides strategic and operational leadership and direction to MOLA. With extensive leadership experience, most recently as MOLA’s Chief Operating officer, Steve maintains standards across all of MOLA’s activities from commercial issues and risk management to H&S policies and procedures and Quality Management. 

Sophie Jackson, Director of Developer Services 
Sophie  leads our Developer Services Division across our London, Basingstoke and Northampton offices. With over 25 years’ experience, she is responsible for all of MOLA’s Consultancy and Project Management. She has a team of around 20 Project Managers leading archaeological projects from design to completion. She also oversees our fieldwork delivery team, which can include up to 300 field archaeologists at any one time. 

Dr Sara Perry, Director of Research and Engagement 
Sara is responsible for overseeing MOLA’s award-winning community engagement initiatives and our extensive post-excavation programmes and grant-funded research. Her team includes more than 80 experts from community archaeologists to conservators and material specialists.
