Escape London's crowds with our expert archaeologists and discover the archaeology of this iconic historic area. Whilst immersed in a hidden urban environment with breathtaking views, learn about:
- River taxis and cargo transport on the Thames
- The last working wharf in the City of London and the river that ran through the middle of Roman Londonium
- Businesses that flourished beside the Thames
Please be aware that this event involves walking across uneven and muddy ground.
The walk will begin at: 10:00am next to the Banker pub at the top of Cousin Lane Stairs (Find the location on: What3Words or Google Maps)
