And that’s exactly what the plan shows was here, along with the Northern Foundry Co. Warehouses and storage for the Barclays, Perkins and Co. Brewery.
This 19th-century stoneware ink bottle was found nearby at Stoney Street, still with its stopper intact. Bottles just like may have been produced in Lambeth, destined to be used on the paper stored at Red Lion Court.
